Who we are

What this notice covers
This website and the emails you send us. We work with businesses, not consumers.
What the website collects
The site has no forms, accounts or newsletter, and uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We set no cookies on public pages; our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and the pages requested) for security. We store IP addresses only in scrambled (hashed) form, for abuse protection, and delete them within about 24 hours.
If you email us or become a client
We handle your name, work email, company and message. For clients we also keep order, invoice and payment records, and the product materials you send for your order.
Why we use it
To reply to you and prepare a quote at your request, to deliver the orders you place, to keep the tax and accounting records the law requires, and to protect the site from abuse.
If we contacted you first
We used business contact details that were publicly available, for example on your company website or a professional profile. You can ask where we found your details and tell us to stop at any time.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare (hosting), Google Workspace (email), and our bank or payment provider for client payments. To produce an order we process the product materials for that order with third-party generative AI services; they do not receive your contact details. We do not sell personal information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Where it is processed
We are based in mainland China and read our email there. Our providers store data in the European Union and other countries.
How long we keep it
Hashed IP addresses: about 24 hours. Enquiries: up to 24 months, or less if you ask. Contracts, invoices and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct or delete it, to stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to privacy@maqtafilms.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Other
We make no automated decisions about you. This site is not directed at children. If this notice changes, the new version is posted here with its date.
